A strange question….
Question:
OK, this is a strange question, but here goes…. where would someone go about finding people with Tourette’s do date? My case of TS is mild enough that (as the doctor put it) "medications would be a waste of time", so really haven’t been involved with things enough to know anywhere to meet other persons – in fact, I can’t remember ever meeting another person with Tourette’s, and I think it would be interesting….

Hi! How about going to local TSA support meetings and events…that way, you’re guaranteed to meet with others who either have, or are aware of,TS!!Everybody will be just like you and be undersatnding to the struggles of a TS person, and you will have at least this in common!! — ******* IRINA SHOUSHOUNOVA bo693 or Love…@ottawa.com ******* As Christ suffered many attacks, so must he who is following in His footsteps, for the disciple is not above his master. ********* Home Page:http://www.ncf.carleton.ca/~bo693 ********

Not strange at all. And places to meet folks with TS are at TSA conferences, here on line, TSA local functions (find your local chapter), and, quite frankly, any place you’ll find ‘regular people.’ Watch closely, and you’ll see a lot of people ‘ticcing out there.’

Right! And always when I see any other person ticcing (e.g. in the shopping mall) than I say to this person: "Excuse me, I see that you have Tourette-Syndrome. I have it also. Let us drink a cup of coffee together and talk a little bit…." ticstump Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
