allergy testing question
Question:
i have tourette syndrome , which causes tics (blinking etc) also i have recently accuired ashtma , i am not allergic to anything that i know off , but have heard that tourette syndrom is caused by allergies to foods etc , so i read about it a littlre and here is what i am doing tonight , i am using a diabetec pricker to jag myself on the leg , to aw blood then i am wiping a onion or tomato etc on it and wiping it again with a cloth , so far i have not had a red circle or reaction , i have tried milk,onion,mushroom,red wine , is this test going to work or am i doing it wrong (i dont want to go to a allergist just yet and would like to do it myself any help would be greatly apriciated , my email is marksu…@hotmail.com and i will check this site every 30 mins or so tonight and every few hgours there after thanks

Please don’t use this method yourself, it’s not safe (infection) and isn’t really the proper way to test for various allergies. Plus, TS is NOT caused by allergies, although some people’s have tics that are affected by certain allergies (mold, spores, etc) or reactions to foods that contain caffiene, sugar, additives and ‘fake’ ingredients. PLEASE let a doctor guide you for treatment. Several people here will jump in and provide you with links where you can learn more about TS. PS – Are you diabetic? Tell us more about yourself??
