I’ve never used SSRI (well, I’ve done some acid trips, but I’ve never used SSRI on a daily basis), but there are lots of people with SSRI experience over at alt.support.tourette and alt.support.ocd.  BTW, what condition are using SSRI for? — .//==================================================. //     Randall Bart       mailto:Barti…@aol.com               or  mailto:Barti…@worldnet.att.net     // .==================================================//.

Ron, I also have RLS and Periodic Limb Movement During Sleep (PLMS)  I am on 0.5 Klonopin and 10 mg Ambien and it has helped me finally have a peaceful night’s sleep.  These web sites might help you and give you info to share with your doctor. http://www.sleepnet.com/index.shtml http://www.rls.org/ http://www.rls.org/rlstest.htm This site has a test for RLS http://www.njc.org/MSUhtml/MSU_sleep.html I hope you can find some answers at these very informative web sites. Hello Everyone,    I’m looking for info on restless leg syndrome.  I think this is what I’m experiencing, but I’m not sure.  My legs tense up and start moving around just as I’m falling to sleep. The subjective feeling is that I just can’t keep my legs motionless.  Lately this has been keeping me awake until 4-5AM.  I had been doing the straight-leg "towel stretch" to shut things down, but this no longer seems to be working.    I’ve been on two different SSRI medications over the course of the last three years.  Could this be the cause?  Are there other physical and/or psychogenic causes for this syndrome? Thanks for your time, and have a Happy New Year!!! Ron Niquette Rising Moon Genealogical Services http://www.mv.com/ipusers/rniquett r…@rniquett.mv.com

Check out the web site at www.rls.org, which is the Restless Legs foundation.  That might give you some leads. You’re not alone; there are several million people who regularly experience RLS from what I’ve heard.
