For weeks and weeks, I have not posted to or about *i***, but she continues to rage. I can only conclude that her problems do not lie with me but rather within herself. Thank you. You had a part in it, believe it or not. The formal decision took place when I finally made the unPablo-like decision to use a killfile. Of course, I can still see others’ replies. A lot of the time, posts are just brief, unedited snapshots of the contents of a poster’s mind. I think a lot of people post like that, not just ADHDers. Sure – but it was more a general impression of the groups.
I think I may just be overly sensitive to the differences between what people *think* they’re posting and what they actually write… sort of expecting miscommunication all the time too. It conveys the impression of individuals divorced from objectivity/reality, uncaring or unable to appreciate the impact on the way they’re perceived. Er- do my posts look that way? Well, I wasn’t gunna say anything – but … ;) Your output is invariably, a paragon of crystalline lucidity.
LOL! You mean transparent…? Anyway, what’s in my brain as I’m typing are several different conversations with myself about trivial stuff mixed up with sudden contexts to what my eyes and ears are picking up. The conversations or maybe what I’m trying to type keeps on branching off into various options till it all becomes a jumbled mess with me trying to recall which thread of thought I’m trying to bring across. I don’t know what it’s like for the rest of you but I find continuity in thought quite hard to achieve. But when you see some posts, you really wonder about the author !
